University of Kerbala
Strategic Studies Center /University of Kerbala, in cooperation with Faculty of Engineering and Karbala Traffic Directorate has organized a workshop on traffic jams and traffic accidents in the province, in the presence of President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basin K. Nile.
President of the University says that University of Kerbala continues to contribute assisting service departments with its scientific expertise and advisory offices in addressing many of the problems that the city faces, by providing scientific and practical solutions that help the citizen to enjoy the best services.”
Prof. Dr. Basin K. Nile adds that University of Kerbala is investing the reconstruction movement in the province, especially in field of roads and bridges, to break traffic jams that occur in the province.
The participants discuss the geographical importance of the holy city of Karbala, its religious dimension , its global impact, and mechanism of advancing its service reality, especially the problem of transportation and traffic, which suffers from multiple problems.
For his part, Director of the Center , Dr. Ahmed Kadhim , indicates that the Center seeks to tackle the problems that occur in the governorate, including traffic jams, investing scientific expertise at University of Kerbala and and the aim of holding this seminar is to identify the problem of traffic jams in the city Karbala and developing effective solutions.
