University of Kerbala
With the efforts of its professors and employees University of Kerbala has advanced level, 7th place local centers and 113 global centers in UI Green Metric global ranking compared with last year.
Green Matrix Ranking classifies universities according to several criteria related to the environment and sustainability within the campus in terms of infrastructure, efficiency in energy use, reduction of gas emissions, the extent of application of the principles of integrated management of solid and liquid waste, means of transportation, and the level of the educational process.
This progress in classification comes as a result of careful scientific plans and programmes launched by President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basim Al-Saedi, so as to improve the academic, environmental and administrative reality of the University.
