University of Kerbala Organizes a Scientific Symposium on Impact of Fatima Al-Zahra’s Personality on Women’s Development

College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala holds a scientific symposium on “The Impact of Fatima al-Zahra’s Personality (peace be upon her) on Contemporary Women’s Development”. The symposium, which has been presented by Dr. Ahmed Hammoud al-Saadi, Dr. Muhammad al-Edrisi, Professor Zainab Muhammad Yassin, and Lect. Muhammad Ajil, includes a study of Fatima al-Zahra’s personality (peace be upon her) as a way of life and a timeless, applicable model. It focuses on how contemporary women can draw inspiration from values ​​and principles embodied by al-Zahra (peace be upon her) to confront cultural and social challenges of modern age.
The symposium aims at demonstrating principle of balancing roles and how al-Zahra (peace be upon her) is able to combine the highest form of devotion with her role as a homemaker (wife and mother) and her social and missionary role (teacher and defender of truth). The symposium also addresses themes of chastity and social participation.
