University of Kerbala
Faculty of Dentistry/ University of Kerbala has organized a workshop which is entitled (radiation energy uses and risk).
The workshop has been delivered by Prof. Dr. Abbas Jawad Abdul and Asst. Prof. Ali Salman Abdul Amir . It aims at clarifying sources of natural and artificial radiation, uses of electric power generation, water desalination, food preservation and sterilization of medical equipment and assessment of biological as well as the implications for medical diagnosis and cancer treatment with radiation.
It also identifies the radioactivity of the materials in the peaceful nature of its uses in industry and medical diagnostics.
