The current study tries to identify the harmonious personality to university students, as well Life’s Task to University Students and the relation between them; besides, knowing the extent of tasks’ participation in the harmonious personality to university students. The researcher limited the adopted definitions, the theoretical framework, and the previous studies engaged.
To achieve this aim, the researcher built the harmonious personality measurement to check the standard aspects represented by the statistical analysis indicators and truth of stability of the standard in accord with Motkove O.I. theory concerning the harmonious character.
The final form of the standard consists of 15 items and the external positive harmony which is about 15 items. In front of each item, there is fivefold scaled to answer, these are: always applicable ( 5 marks), often applicable ( 4 marks) , sometimes applicable ( 3 marks),rarely applicable ( 2 marks) , never applicable ( 1 marks). Thus, the highest degree that the respondent can get, based on the measurement items is 150 marks, while the lowest degree one can get is 30 marks and the hypothetical medium of measurement is 90 marks. Hence, those who get degrees higher than 90 have a harmonious personality and those who get lower degrees do not have a harmonious personality.
Then, measurement of life’s task was designed in accord with theory of Cantor N. in the life’s task. The measurement consists of 30 items; In front of each item, there is fivefold scaled to answer, these are: always applicable ( 5 marks), often applicable ( 4 marks) , sometimes applicable ( 3 marks),rarely applicable ( 2 marks) , never applicable ( 1 marks). They are distributed into 3 tasks as the following:
1. Thinking task to decompose social obstacles have 10 items: the highest degree that a respondent can get after answering the measurement items is 30 and the lowest degree that one can get is 10, while the hypothetical medium of measurement is 30 marks.
2. The pessimism feeling task to solve problems having 10 items: the highest degree that a respondent can get after answering the measurement items is 30 and the lowest degree that one can get is 10, while the hypothetical medium of measurement is 30 marks.
3. The designed schedule, which focused on the result with 10 marks: the highest degree that a respondent can get after answering the measurement items is 30 and the lowest degree that one can get is 10, while the hypothetical medium of measurement is 30 marks.
4. Measurement of life’s tasks includes 30 items: the highest degree that a respondent can get after answering the measurement items is 150 and the lowest degree that one can get is 30, while the hypothetical medium of measurement is 90 marks.
Herself conducted the application and distributed the paper questionnaire form to all the individuals of the sample represented by Kerbala university students in Fraiha and Al Muwedefean Quarter campuses where the data were analyzed by statistical package for the social sciences ( spss), and the following results were drawn:
-The university students have a harmonious personality.
-The individuals’ statistical differences refer that the university male students tend to the external harmony whereas university female students have more harmony than the males and the male students of the human specialization are more harmonious in their characters than the scientific specialization.
– University students practice life tasks.
