The current reasearch aims to explore the following:

1- Affiliation motivation among University students.
2- Identifying the ethical sensitivity of University students.
3- Investigating the relationship between the Affiliation motivation and Ethical sensitivity.
4- Examining statistically the significant differences in the relationship between the Affiliation motivation and Ethical sensitivity based on gender ,(male- female) and major (scientific-humanities).
5- Anlayizing the The contribution of affiliation motivation to Ethical sensitivity among University students.

The research sample consisted of (337) University students from Karbala, including(221) males,(156) females. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher adopted and translated the affiliation motivation scale of(Hill,1987) and utilized the Ethical sensitivity scale based on the work of (Tiri & Nokelalainen) which grounded in Narvaez’s theory (Narvaez,2001).psychometric properties of the bouth scales, including reliability and validity , were assessd. After collecting and statistically analyzing the date using appropriate statistical methods, the study revealed the following results:
1- The current research sample showes a strong affiliated motivated.
2- Karbala University students demonstrate ethical sensitivity.

3- There is a positive and significant correlation between affilliation motivation and ethical sensitivity.

4- The multiple regression analysis indicated that affiliation motivation positively contributes to ethical sensitivity.

recommendations:
Based on the results and findings, the researcher suggests the following:

1- Activate the role of counseling units in various colleges to guide students on the importance of affiliation motivation and ethical sensitivity within the university campus, as they play a significant role in enhancing their value system.
2- Enhance students’ self-confidence and encourage them to participate positively in student activities through lectures and other events.
Based on the results and recommendations, the researcher proposes the following further studies:

Conduct research to explore the relationship between affiliation motivation and other variables, such as psychological well-being, the Big Five personality traits, achievement, and social intelligence.
2- Conduct a similar study on society.
