The narrative in the twenty first century occupied great interest by Arab researchers and critiques through their study to its traditional and modern techniques and styles as well its problems to the extent that is known by the narrative era. This is because it became as a reflexive mirror to the narrators, concerns, opinions, and their attitudes towards the important issues in the society that individuals suffer from. Therefore, narrators tries to shed the light on them to find suitable solution for them, rather it became a means to enrich the reader with the significant cultural references, in addition to its entertainment by mixing the real world with the imaginary one.
As a result, the narrative, in this century became more comprehensive carrying deep indications: political, social, and cultural that work to gentle the emotions and polish the minds, and an attempt to find answers to the questions that make the world, due to the suffering, conflicts, wars, and intellectual differences, reach to the crash.
The current study which is entitled” Andalus Theme in Arabic Narrative ( 1990 to 2020 A.D.) contained a preface and three chapters where each chapter has three sections. In the preface, we summed up the structure concept westerly and Arabic, as well as the most important studies that tackled our theme narratives and the motifs that led to employing Andalus in the Arabic narrative.
We have adopted the structural method in our study for it is one of the modern and contemporary critical method that stands an analyzing narrative texts and focus its interest on the text and its language without caring about the external influences. Shortage of references and bibliographies that tackled Granada theme as a significant narrative event was one of the difficulties that the researcher faced. It formed a big turn in the Arabic civilization history.
At the end, based on responding favor with favor and to return the charity with its owner, I would like to deeply thank my respected supervisor Prof. Dr. Abdul Amear Muter Faily Al Saidi who did not delay in presenting support to me to complete this study to be in your hand. I also thank all my respected masters in kerbala University who had the great favor through my scientific career in Bachelor and master stages praying Allah Almighty for their success. I also introduce m gratitude to the examination committee for accepting my thesis taking in consideration that this does not empty from many defects and mistakes that the researcher committed; therefore.
