Faculty of Education for Human Science/ University of Kerbala has discussed the Ph.D dissertation on Al-Zahraa and her daughter Zainab, peace be upon them, in modern Iraqi poetry from (1650 AD – 2020 AD): An Analytical Study.
The study aims at highlighting some of obscure Iraqi poets and explaining their poetic, intellectual and ideological productions, as well as explaining their artistic style with which they have formulated Fatimid and Zainabiya poems and how they used ideas to explain the two women’ oppression (peace be upon them).
The study sheds light on poetry journey of the two women, since there is an important role for these poems among Iraqi poets in modern era during period of approximately seventy years.
One of the most important findings of the study is that Arab women in Islamic era played an influential role in society, as among the most prominent influences on it are Prophet’s daughter, Fatima, and his granddaughter Zainab (peace be upon them), who has completed her mother’s path and traced her influence on clarifying ambiguities of the message, people’s questions, and advocating religion of Islam and Muslims.
