Kerbala University Organizing a Seminar on the Iraqi-Chinese Agreement

 With the participation of a number of researchers and specialists, the Faculty of Administration and Economics at Kerbala University has organized a seminar entitled “Reading and Notes in the Iraqi-Chinese Agreement“. The workshop aims at determining the importance of this agreement and ways of offering help to the Iraqi economy at the present time in areas of investment that reduce the negative effects of the financial crisis facing Iraq after the decline in oil prices in global markets.

      The workshop deals with the dimensions of the Iraqi-Chinese agreement in terms of the economic development of Iraq, the possibility of providing important opportunities for investment in Iraq to specialized international companies, and the importance of proceeding with building the country infrastructure, as this has a firm role in supporting the reform of the Iraqi economy.

     The seminar discusses the mechanisms for implementing the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Chinese Corporation for Export, Credit and Economic and Technical Cooperation for the reconstruction of Iraq, as well as a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Communications and the Chinese Office of Aeronautics in Satellites, a security memo between the Iraqi Ministry of Interior and Public Security in China, and a memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi ministries of trade  Chinese, and cultural memorandum.
