University of Kerbala
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine/ University of Kerbala has organized a training course on extraction of DNA from blood in cooperation with Veterinary Public Health Branch and participation of a number of researchers and specialists.
The course, which is lectured by Prof. Dr. Ali Ridha Abdel, Prof. Dr. Kadhim Saleh Kadhim, and Prof. Faris Sahib Umran, aims at identifying DNA extraction technique and how to preserve samples prepared for extraction.
It is worth noting that DNA is the part that contains genetic information necessary for functioning, reproduction and development of organisms.
