University of Kerbala
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – University of Kerbala has closed the activities of the training course which is entitled “combat narcotics and psychotropic substances” which has been held by Divisions of Continuing Education and Student Activities and the Psychological and Educational Counseling Unit, in cooperation with Directorate of National Security of Karbala.
The training course deals with many axes, including identifying types of drugs and their effect from a medical point of view, legal materials for punishing drug users or their promoters, and the effect of drugs on social and economic aspects of society.
Professors, employees and students of the College Faculty of Veterinary Medicine have participated in the training course, in addition to a number of employees of General Veterinary Hospital and Directorate of Agriculture of Karbala.
