Faculty of Education for Human Sciences / University of Kerbala has discussed a PhD dissertation that deals with “language of media in Iraq of 2003-2020, an analytical study of its linguistic and thematic characteristics”.
The study consists of three chapters and a conclusion in which the first deals with structural characteristics of media language in Iraq, the second chapter examines semantic characteristics of Iraqi media language, while the third chapter discusses pragmatic aspect of media language in Iraq.
Findings of the study states that reasons of decline in media language in Iraq after 2003 are due to causes of using common errors and how to address them.
