University of Kerbala
Faculty of Veterinary Medicine / University of Kerbala, in cooperation with Directorate of Civil Defense in Holy Karbala, has organized a scientific symposium which is entitled (Earthquakes), in which Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Akrouk Ishak and Commissioner Ali Sobeih have deliveredit, with participation of a number of researchers and specialists.
The symposium aims at introduceing earthquakes, the factors that contribute to their occurrence and the most important preventive measures to be taken.
The symposium deals with the preventive measures that must be taken during earthquakes, whether inside or outside houses or in external roads and yards, and how to deal with people stuck under the rubble and provide them with assistance until the rescue teams arrive and provide them with necessary first aid.
