University of Kerbala Holds a Seminar on “Drugs and Their Impact on Achieving Sustainable Development Goals”

College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala organizes a scientific seminar on “Drugs and Their Impact on Achieving Sustainable Development Goals.” The seminar, which has been presented by Dr. Fatima Abdul-Hadi, Lect. Yasser Rahim Kadhim, Lect. Safaa Subaih Khazal, and Lect. Mohammed Nadhim Ubaid, aims at highlight social, economic, and health effects of drugs and to demonstrate their negative impact on achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
The seminar includes health and social effects of drugs, the impact of drugs on development process, and the role of academic and community institutions in raising awareness and reducing spread of drug use.
